Our Story

From Local Contractor to Community Partner

PlayTech was born from a simple idea: recreational facilities deserve the same level of care, expertise, and reliability that schools, municipalities, and organizations expect from their property maintenance partners. As a division of COR Maintenance LLC, we brought decades of multi-industry experience into the world of recreational safety and facility upkeep.


What began as a small extension of COR’s full-service model has grown into a specialized team dedicated entirely to indoor and outdoor recreation spaces. Today, PlayTech proudly serves Michigan and the surrounding region, ensuring playgrounds, athletic facilities, and community centers remain safe, accessible, and fully compliant year after year.

Mike Frost is the Founder and CEO of Playtech, bringing more than 20 years of hands-on experience in commercial facility repair, maintenance, management, and improvement. Having built the company from the ground up, he offers deep expertise across public and private facilities, including schools, municipalities, associations, and indoor and outdoor commercial and recreational properties. With extensive knowledge of procurement, budgeting, planning, and facility operations, Mike is a trusted resource for clients seeking practical solutions, reliable execution, and long-term value. He leads with integrity, builds lasting relationships, and sets the standard through a strong commitment to trust, accountability, and doing the right thing for every client and community served.
